Das STROMKLANG Festival ist das erste Eintagesfestival Wiens und findet heuer erneut auf 3 Bühnen in der Spittelau, vor und im Club das WERK Wien statt. Das Festival konzentriert sich dabei auf die Vielfalt österreichischer Musiker*innen und verbindet dabei Live Konzerte und elektronische Musik an einem Ort. Für beste Musikqualität ist auch heuer wieder gesorgt und wie letztes Jahr findet das Festival bei freiem EINTRITT statt. Come and enjoy that day with us!

RANGLEKLODS
(20:30-21:45 Uhr auf der Outdoorbühne)

The electronic wizard aka Esben Nørskov Andersen is back and fully in his element. Take 90’s house with a touch of eurodance, add stabbing vocal chops, playful synths and a groovy four on floor — sprinkle some Rangleklods eccentricity on top and you have the danceable “Song We Used To Play”.

Inspired by his youth in the suburbs — memories of both enduring and fleeting friendships are artfully encapsulated by the soundscape that surrounds them. With nostalgia at its core, Rangleklods has created a unique bridge between melancholic songwriting and his futuristic electronic craftsmanship.
„It’s a song about a friendship that faded away. You move away, forget to stay in touch, and eventually the relationship is just a fond, hazy memory that you hold onto. And the lyrics, just like the friendship you look back on, are also fading away — only the melody is persistent, and remains.

FARCE
(19:15-20:15 Uhr auf der Outdoorbühne)

Veronika J. König (*1997 im Schwarzwald), Studium in Wien, tauscht Blackmetal und Punk noch im Teenager-Alter gegen den Computer ‒ FARCE war geboren. Erste EP und Konzerte im Wiener Underground, von der Journalistin Katharina Seidler entdeckt, Airplay auf FM4. 2018 gelingt der österreichische Festival-Hattrick aus Popfest, Donaufestival und Hyperreality, durch das Album „Heavy Listening“ erreicht europaweit Könige Aufmerksamkeit. FARCE bleibt experimentell, wird jedoch raffinierter, zugänglicher. 2020 nächste Veröffentlichung, Trauma Bounce, das es in die FM4 Charts und weltweit ins Radio schafft, sowie die Single ,,Déjà Vu“ mit Aether Kombo, die eine Nr. 1 wird. Kooperationen mit Fauna, Clara Luzia, Aether Kombo, Soap & Skin. FARCE ist (Co-)Produzent*in von Acts wie Anthea, Sakura und Juno Lee. Im feministischen Untergrund ebenso wie der internationalen Avantgarde zuhause, engagiert sich König mit Leidenschaft in der Nachwuchsförderung der queeren Musikszene. Im Mai 2022 erscheint das neue Album „Not To Regress“, das selbst den steinernen Mauern des Stephansdoms eine Träne der Bewegung entlockt.

BOSNA
(20:30-21:30 Uhr auf der Indoorbühne im Bogen 333)

Hibernation is filled with a seductive sound set and effective arrangements. Hypnotic loops, catchy guitar riffs and the melancholic voices of Pete Prison IV and Sticky Lenz interweave with the rough drums to form a dense melodic unit. As a duo, Bosna play on their debut single with the phenomenon of an abstract unified entity in a world of individualism. In the accompanied DIY-video: All is red. Are we conscious and aware enough to choose what to hold on to or what to let go of? Pete Prison IV (Vereter, Mekongg) started Bosna as an acoustic noise solo project in 2016 and with Sticky Lenz (Just Friends And Lovers, Lonesome Hot Dudes, Lime Crush) on the drums the project thrived. The results are spectacular as the twosome give a peek into their collective psyche.

Perfekte Symbiose
„Elektronische Klangkunst“
nennen Coolnick + HALL ihre Produktionen, Coolnick steuert Melodie und Gesang bei, HALL verschafft eine ordentliche Portion technische Raffinesse, treibenden Untergrund und durch den Einsatz von modularen Synthesizern ein besonderes Klangerlebnis. Eine ausgereifte Balance, die elektronische Musik mit sorgfältigem Feinschliff schafft – rythmisch, lebhaft, melodisch, tief und detailverliebt. Die beiden produzieren Tracks und treten als Live-Duo auf.

KMT is the solo experimental project of Katarina Maria Trenk.
It is known for energetic, radical and confrontational live performances.Her sound produces KMT by using no-fi recordings of industrial devices (fans, radial heaters, hair dryers…), trumpet, voice and synthesizer.
