oh alien ist ein überraschtes „oh“ an das Unbekannte im Selbst und eine Konversation mit Pop. Eine Frage, ein Ausruf, ein Seufzer, ein Scherz, ein Liebesbrief.
oh alien ist ein Sound, der Körper bewegt und Gedanken anrührt. Rau und elektrisierend – mit Liedern so aufregend und melancholisch wie die blaue Stunde.

Mit „This Might Be the Place“ (VÖ 01.04.2022) veröffentlichen oh alien nun ihren ersten Tonträger. Es ist eine EP für Zwischenzeiten und Zäsuren. Für Jahre wie 2022, in denen nichts ist wie es war, und niemand weiß, wie es wird. Ein Jahr, in dem alle warten und warten und währenddessen trotzdem – irgendwie und unmerklich – das eigentliche Leben passiert. In sechs Liedern behandeln oh alien die Zwischenzeiten als Orte für sich, wo es sich lohnt, genauer hinzusehen.

„oh alien“ is a surprised „oh“ to the unknown within ourselves and a dialogue with pop. A question, a call, a sigh, a laugh, a love letter. oh alien is a sound that moves bodies and minds. Raw and electrifying – songs as thrilling and melancholic as the blue hour.

This Might Be the Place (01.04.2022) is the band’s first publication. It is an EP for the in-between-times and turning points. For years like 2022, where nothing seems to be like it was, and nobody knows what the future brings. A year that has everyone waiting and waiting while simultaneously – somehow and imperceptibly – life still happens.
In six songs, oh alien treat the in-between-times as places of their own, that are worthy of taking a closer look.
